Be the Light

Good or bad, we humans live in the same world. And God makes his sun rise on the good and the bad. When the rays of light from God penetrate your heart and you are on the way with him, then you carry light within you. Light gives off warmth, and more importantly, thanks to light we can see and know where we are going. Wouldn’t it be a shame to hide this light in you so that others don’t notice what a precious treasure you have in you? Probably some are bothered by the light because they are not used to seeing, using their eyes and recognizing much more what was previously in the dark.

Jesus is the light of the world. So also his successors. You don’t have to be a fulltime missionary to spread His light in the dark world. Just listen to God and respond to him: with prayer and reading the Bible. As you pass on love, the light within you shines to other hearts who need it so much. Prayer and active love are two keys to bringing God’s wonderful light into the world.
